The ideal candidate will have 4 years experience as a Supplier QE working with Six Sigma, Poke Yoke, Lean, PFMEA and APQP. Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Review and analyze inspection test results and oversee the disposition of unaccepted items with suppliers
- Analyze supplier performance – in-house and on-supplier premises
- Applies standard statistical techniques to analyze and evaluate studies (APQP, FMEA, Gauge R&R)
- Negotiate with suppliers
- Participate in the development of inspection, testing and evaluation techniques for incoming goods
- Maintain computerized and manual databanks on procured items
Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
- 4 years experience with Supplier Quality
- Knowledge and experience with Measurement System Analysis (MSA) gauge selection, gauge calibration, measuring uncertainty
- Knowledge and experience with APQP, Six Sigma, PPAP, design review, quality planning, PPAP, product launch / verification / testing, 8D, PFMEA, Lean, Poke Yoke
- Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and related auditing practices
- Able to travel about 15 times per year (2 -3 day trips including some international travel)
- Prefer experience working with SAP
