The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing facility. Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Standard cost analysis, price variances, forecasts, budget and preparation of audits
- Manage manufacturing systems to ensure standards and gross margins are met.
- Establish and manage standard cost of new and existing parts
- Audit cycle count activity and manage inventory
- Provide cost support to all management in facility
- Handle all reports monthly and other metrics for month end closing
- Maintain all product cost data in system
- Prepare monthly accounting functions and journal entries
- Assist with accounting system, procedures associated with cost accounting for the facility.
- Manufacturing experience in a plastics plant or resin products plant preferred.
- Start-Up experience a plus
Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in Accounting with 5 years hands on experience in manufacturing cost accounting
- Systems: AS400, IQMS, Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point
- Ability to interface with all levels of the company
- Strong verbal and written skills
