The ideal candidate will directly supervise the assembly line department focusing on maintaining the quality of products and safety of 80 employees. The candidate must be shift flexible! Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelors Degree is preferred in a Business or Engineering related field Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Plan, analyze and schedule the entire plant operations
- Utilize industrial engineering applications to provide efficient assembly of products that meets quality, quantity, schedule and cost standards
- Direct, supervise and coordinate PLC and robotic machine set-ups and operations requiring a broad range of assembly processes
- Maintain close surveillance over set-up procedures and machining operations
- Organize and assign work to utilize available skills, knowledge and experience and provide regular training
- Analyze and diagnose machine problems to expedite and coordinate corrective procedures and to prevent excessive downtime and interrupted schedules
Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelors Degree is preferred in a Business or Engineering related field
- 5 years experience supervising in a high volume manufacturing assembly environment
- Experience with manpower planning, conducting performance reviews, administering counseling notices, handling employee disagreements
- Must be shift flexible (able to work 1st or 2nd)
- Excellent verbal/written communication abilities,
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies – 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen
