As a company, MRI of Person County is committed to giving back by supporting the following charities and organizations in our communities.
Sally Brewer, Angie Craven and Sherri Buckner serve as active members of the Virgilina Woman’s Club and Mebane Woman’s Club respectively. They are active in their efforts to raise money for The Patrick Henry Boys Home, Virgilina Volunteer Fire Department, Rachel’s Challenge and The Mebane Community Garden.
As founding member and current President of the MRI Network Charitable Foundation, Sherri Buckner works throughout the year to organize the annual Charity Classic Golf Tournament. The tournament has been hosted at Hilton Head, The Grove Park Inn and The Grandover Resort. Sherri oversees the online, silent and live auctions. All proceeds from the tournament and auctions benefit the St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the MRI Network Disaster Relief Fund. In 2013, the Foundation partnered with Duke Children's Hospital and hosted the MRINetwork Duke Charity Classic at the beautiful Washington Duke Hotel. 
Since 2000, Don Buckner has served Rotary International and Rotary Foundation in numerous capacities including District Governor. His most recent work has focused on disaster relief in Haiti. Rotarians are in the process of building a hospital in Haiti to be completed in August, 2011. Upon completion, Rotarians will start fitting Haitians with prosthetics and offering physical therapy to the children recipients.
